Wasted Spaces is continually looking out for artists who feel they could breathe new life into a tired old shop front or commercial space with an exciting installation. Applications are invited from creatives of any discipline, regardless of experience, age or background.

The steps to obtaining a space:

• Artist completes the Wasted Spaces registration form (click here to register)
  
• The Wasted Spaces team reviews the submission
• If successful, a profile page is created for the artist for inclusion on the Wasted Spaces website. This includes images of the artist’s work, name, website link and short biography
• The Wasted Spaces team search for a suitable site for the artist
• Once a space is found, the artist is contacted again to assess availability and the suitability of the space
• The artist agrees to a space and submits a site-specific proposal
• The Wasted Spaces team reviews the proposal
• The proposal is approved and a timeline is agreed
• The artist begins work
• The artist and the Wasted Spaces team install the artwork
